Pecan with Iridescent Emerald Resin

This board is made using live edge Pecan and a mixture of food safe Iridescent and Emerald green colored resin, finished in cutting board oil and wax.
The unique pattern is known as ‘wormholes’; the natural ‘exit points’ for beetles.
(Each hole was cleaned and inspected to insure no wildlife was present before resin pour.)

Is it a reminder that in the end, nature takes back its home or is it something out of a sci-fi horror flick, where venom spreads into every crack? You be make the call.
This piece will definitely be a show stopper in kitchen.
